Makayla Reeves (she/her) is a senior at New Tech High School and Dallas native. As a lead team member on the Dallas Independent School District SEL summit commission, she headed the creation of their school’s Project Zen Garden. She plans to use her influence to encourage her peers to continue using their voices to articulate their social and emotional needs.
